Top world air cargo hubs

Memphis came on top as the world's busiest cargo airport with Hong Kong coming in second ahead of Shanghai, according to the Airports Council International, the global trade representative for airports, the Shipping Gazette informs.


Tennessee's Memphis International Airport was also the biggest in North America because it is the home of FedEx while Louisville, Kentucky, came in third on the continent because it is the home of United Parcel Service (UPS).


According to the report, the rankings were Memphis, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Incheon, Paris, Anchorage, Louisville, Dubai, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Singapore.
