PKP Cargo to fulfil government's strategy on railway

PKP Cargo, Polish state-owned freight operator started the fulfilment of Governmental Strategy fo railway transport to year 2013, Railway Market reported. The document was accepted by the Polish cabinet on 17 April 2007.

- Boards of companies in PKP Group are obligated to prepare schedules, which allow to fulfil main objectives of the Strategy... in terms of reallocation of PKP Cargo's assets to PKP Intercity and PKP Regional Services - wrote Zenon Kozendra, member of the PKP Cargo's board, in a letter to trade union representatives.

These two companies ought to obtain raights to the assets until 30 April 2008.
