Hebei Airlines founded, Sichuan, Shenyang hold stakes

HEBEI Aviation Group and its subsidiary Hebei Airlines has been officially established, Xinhua reported.

Hebei Airlines is the core business of the Hebei Aviation Group. The group holds 62 per cent's stake in the carrier. Sichuan Airlines and another company from Shenyang hold 35 and three per cent respectively.

Board of director of Hebei Aviation Group Wang Sheping said they plan to develop Hebei Airlines into a Shijiazhuang-based feeder carrier offering fast transportation means to major cities with low prices. The carrier will launch several lines from Shijiazhuang to Qinhuangdao, Guilin, Shanghai, Chengdu and Hohhot in the near future.
