Geodis participates in Transport Logistic China Expo

FRENCH state-owned Societe Nationale des Chemins de fer Francais (SNCF) Geodis is presenting its global multi-modal offering at the Transport Logistic China exhibition in Shanghai this week.

This comes as SNCF Geodis is increasing its offering in Asia. The global multi-modal provider just launched a global 4PL offer, managed by the new division Geodis Supply Chain Optimisation. "GSCO" offers outsourcing and coordination of international supply chains.

The commercial offer of this growing business unit in Asia will be at the centre of the group's showroom at Transport Logistics China, and it will be linked to all activities of SNCF Geodis' end-to-end supply chain management, from global sea and air freight via warehousing services to intra-Asia shipments and inland distribution, a company statement said.

In Asia SNCF Geodis is mainly represented by two core business units, the 4PL division (Geodis Supply Chain Optimisation) and the freight management division (Geodis Wilson).

The group's offer in Asia and worldwide ranges from integrated freight and logistics solutions, using advanced technologies that cover the entire supply chain, to final distribution, reverse logistics and spare parts operations.
