Logwin, a provider of air and ocean freight and logistics services, is upgrading and expanding its facilities in Shanghai as demand grows in China for value added logistics services in the fashion retail sector.
The company has moved to a state-of-the art 6,000 sq m CFS centre in the Lingang district of Shanghai, which is close to the deep-water Yangshan Port and has established a 2,000 sq m logistics facility in Baoshan in the north of Shanghai.
The Baoshan facility will be primarily focused on serving Logwin’s fashion retail clients where a full range of value added logistics services such as quality checking, price tagging, sorting, labeling, scanning and pick and pack are on offer.
“Logwin works with some of the world’s leading fashion retailers and consumer demand is growing in China for high end fashion goods from Europe. This demand has resulted in an expansion of our logistics facilities in Shanghai and in other cities in China,” said Henk Westerhoek, Logwin’s managing director, China.
Logwin also provides specialist services to customers in the automotive, retail, hi-tech and high- end consumer goods and chemicals sectors.
