Air France-KLM has denied a press report that its Air France unit plans to consolidate its cargo activities into its passenger business and discontinue its cargo fleet, Dow Jones reported.
"There are no plans to give up our cargo aircraft fleet," a spokeswoman said.
Citing trade union sources, French daily Le Figaro reported that the airline is considering operating its cargo activities using its passenger aircraft, after reducing the number of its cargo fleet to five aircraft.
The airline's cargo aircraft currently transport 26 percent of its cargo business, down from 47 percent four years ago.
