BA World Cargo to raise fuel surcharge

British Airways World Cargo will increase its fuel surcharge to 0.66/$1.00/1.00 euro, effective May 1.

The airline said the increase follows a second consecutive week that its fuel index has been above the level 20 threshold.

Fuel prices continue to rise, making it necessary to increase our fuel surcharge, in line with the index, said Adam Carson, BA World Cargo's senior manager revenue management.
