Independent forwarders discuss technology in Bangkok May 25-30

HONG-KONG-based Raeuber & Walle Solutions will showcase new methods to the members of its logistics alliances of the Combined Logistics Networks (CLN) on how to maximise new technology in marketing and branding at the group's annual meeting at Bangkok's Shangri-La Hotel May 25-30.

CLN chief executive Christian Raeuber said technology and strategy experts will be guest speakers to provide delegates with up-to-date briefings on emerging technologies that could be adapted by independent freight forwarders.

"Corporate website design and software applications are playing a critical role in marketing and branding strategies and those working within the supply chain need to keep abreast of these initiatives and their application in unlocking new business opportunities," Mr Raeuber said.

CLN is an alliance consisting of the Combined Freight Network, made up of independent freight forwarders, airfreight specialists AIRConsol Network, shipping cargo experts SeaConsol Network and project cargo forwarders the P&HL Alliance.

The members-only event's conference package includes a face-to-face meeting scheduler, all meeting materials, buffet lunch and cocktail reception.
