China Southern seeks partners to facility expansion

CHINA Southern Airlines said it was looking to build alliances with both local and foreign carriers, so as to better position itself in the domestic cargo market.

The cooperation could come in the form of a joint-venture cargo airline, Aircargo Asia Pacific reported.

The carrier had previously planned a tie-up with Air France-KLM, only to watch the deal fall apart during the industry downturn.
