UAL expands to Europe, Africa with Brussels Airlines codeshare

UNITED Airlines has opened a new codeshare agreement with Brussels Airlines between extending its reach in Europe and Africa, the company announced.

"We are focused on strengthening our world-class network and adding more destinations for our customers through alliance opportunities," said United vice president Mark Schwab.

Said Brussels Airlines vice president Erik Foller: "This codeshare agreement with United is an important development to Brussels Airlines. With United, we have a strong partner in the US who brings, as a member of the Star Alliance, many new advantages."
