China Southern new chartered service to Jeju, South Korea

CHINA Southern has started a scheduled chartered service to South Korea's Jeju city the provincial capital of the country's one autonomous province, Logistics Week reported.

The service provides two flights a week on Monday and Friday, taking off at 0900 hrs from Zhengzhou's Xinzheng International Airport, reaching Jeju at 1120 hrs, returning at 1200 hrs, back to Zhengzhou at 1450 hrs. Flight number is CZ3041/2.

Jeju-do, translated Korean for Jeju province, short form of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, which occupies the country's largest island as the southern tip of the Korean peninsula. It used to be part of the mainland's Jeollanam province until it became a separate territory in 1946.
