The listing of Cache Logistics Trust (CLT) has created a windfall for a group of investors, even though its units start trading only today, reported Business Times Singapore.
The winners are those who bought into CLT's sponsor CWT Ltd months ago, when it became known that CWT would be setting up a real estate investment trust (Reit).
CWT's share price has shot up by some 67 per cent since, hitting S$1.15 at the market's close on Friday, from 69 cents in mid-December last year.
Punters will now be wondering if CWT still offers significant upside in the near term. The answer, unfortunately, is that there may not be much more potential for capital gains. The target prices set by analysts, for one thing, make for a mixed picture.
