Roof collapses at Shenzhen's CIMC factory in Nantong

HE roof of a factory of Shenzhen's China International Marine Containers (CIMC) in the City of Nantong on the other side of the Yangtze and upstream from Shanghai, has collapsed, burying eight workers.

Police have detained six suspects in connection with the collapse, including safety inspectors and two project managers, who allegedly arranged for construction of the facility without a licence and in breach of safety regulations, Xinhua News reported. CIMC is the world's largest manufacturer of shipping containers.
