Russia's TransContainer tests containers for grain movement

RUSSIAN Railways (RZD) has tested the reliability and safety of allocation and securing of grain cargo in TEU boxes and purpose built containers for the transportation of loose cargo.

Tests have shown that grain transport by multi-purpose and purpose-built containers ensures security, container and cargo safety. Tests were held at Moskva-Tovarnaya station (Moscow Railway), according to Russian Transport Daily Report.
