A meeting of like minds at the Combined Logistics Networks annual meeting in Bangkok from May 25-30, 2010, aims to be a good start to rebounding quickly from the impacts of the Global Financial Crisis.
Combined Logistics Networks (CLN) is an alliance consisting of the Combined Freight Network, made up of independent freight forwarders, airfreight specialists AIRConsol Network, shipping cargo experts SeaConsol Network and project cargo forwarders the P&HL Alliance.
The network of the four different logistics alliances has grown to over 400 members since its formation in 2002.
CLN chief executive officer, Christian Raeuber, said the annual meeting was an excellent opportunity to focus on the future and build relationships that facilitated new business growth opportunities.
“The annual meeting gives our entire membership pool the chance to explore win-win partnerships that are very timely as the business world emerges from the downturn of the past year or so,” Mr Raeuber said.
“The speaker program also highlights the value of cooperation with key strategic logistics service providers and how everyone can work together to maximise profitability within the supply chain industry.”
