China Eastern takes 51pc of Great Wall Airlines

CHINA EASTERN Air Holding Co, the China Eastern Airlines' parent company, has acquired 51 per cent of cargo airline Great Wall Airlines (GWL), reports London's International Freighting Weekly.

The share has been held by Beijing Aerospace Satellite Applications Corp with other remaining shareholders being Singapore Airlines Cargo, which holds 25 per cent and Dahlia Investments 5, which holds 24 per cent. They are both subsidiaries of Singapore's state-owned Temasek Holdings.
