SPOT rates for European-bound shipments from the Far East, now up 63 per cent over October, are expected to fall due to expected increases in capacity, reports Alphaliner.
The rate decline, which is already underway, will be further bolstered by a seven per cent capacity rise due to take effect in the coming weeks.
Rates from North Europe meanwhile, went up 71 per cent since October, are also expected to fall.
