Investigation is to improve railway transport

Åsa Torstensson, Sweden's Minister for Communications, has named County Governor Per Unckel responsible for investigating companies and authorities in connection with the poor railway performance during the winter of 2009/10. The aim of the investigation is to improve railway transport so that re-occurrences may be avoided in the future. Unckel will present his findings by 15 October 2010, Logistics Finland reports.
