Kuehne + Nagel wins job to set up Las Vegas Sands Singapore

SWISS forwarding giant Kuehne + Nagel has been awarded an exclusive logistics contract by Las Vegas Sands Corporation to manage the warehousing, delivery and installation to hotel units in the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort in Singapore.

Under the agreement, KN Hotel Logistics will be responsible for on-time delivery and installation of all furniture to the hotel.

"We have implemented a three-shift operations, working six days a week, 24 hours a day," said KN hotel logistics vice president Achim Glass.

The Marina Bay Sands has three 55-story cascading hotel towers with over 2,500 units. The resort includes a museum, stores, restaurants, the 1.3 million square feet Sands Expo and Convention Centre that can handle 45,000 people.
