Kombiverkehr transported 855,000 units

German intermodal transport operator Kombiverkehr transported 855,000 units in 2009, Logistics Finland reports.  This is a decline of 16% compared to 2008, but a 20% drop had been anticipated. This situation improved in autumn. Markets like the Netherlands and Turkey remained good. It is deemed possible that the volume will go up slightly in 2010.
