PanAir Cargo appoints ECS as GSA for Singapore, Europe

PANAIR Cargo has appointed European Cargo Services as its cargo general sales agent (GSA) in 20 countries in Europe and Singapore.

As a result, the Panamanian cargo airline is now represented by ECS in the European countries of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the Ukraine.

Andres Eduardo Martinez Gomez, executive director of PanAir Cargo, said: "PanAir Cargo considers ECS the perfect partner. Working together, both organisations will support each other to achieve their goals for cargo transportation business in the Americas and Europe."

PanAir Cargo, a trademark of Cargo Three Inc., has located its main operational base at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City. The airline operates two 24 ton capacity Boeing 727-200 freighter and six Convair 580s.

ECS director Adrien Thominet, added: "With its extensive route network and all-cargo capacity, including a new freighter service into Central America from the Dominican Republic and Panama, Pan Air Cargo provides extremely attractive connections for freight forwarders in Europe into the growing markets in Central and Latin America, and the Caribbean."

The all-cargo airline flies to Bogota, Cape Verde, Caracas, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Myanmar, Panama and Venezuela. It also has offices in the major cities of Central America, Latin America and the Caribbean.
