Armstrong, Walker join consulting firm

Richard Armstrong and Allen Walker are joining the Maritime Transport & Logistics Advisors, a management and maritime technology consulting group.

Allen Walker has 13 years of experience working with U.S. shipyards serving as president of the Shipbuilders Council of America and the National Shipyard Association. He also served as executive director of the American Waterways Shipyard Conference.

Armstrong, who will join the group July 1, recently stepped down as executive secretary of the Massachusetts Seaport Council.
