Naples, Italy-based Giuseppe Bottiglieri di Navigazione SpA last week signed contracts for another two 92,500-deadweight-ton post-Panamax bulk carriers from Jiangsu Yangzijiang to add to the six sister vessels ordered from the Chinese yard in January.
The new orders are worth a total of about $100 million.
All eight ships in the series will be delivered from 2009 to 2010 and will be deployed on international trades, moving iron ore, coal and grain products.
