SOUTH China's Nanning Bonded Logistics Centre will open soon, having passed tests and an inspection from China's State Council, reports Xinhua.
The CNY1 billion (US$146.4 million) China-ASEAN International Logistics Base covers 29.2-hectares and is made up of a customs supervision zone, a service zone, a customs inspection zone and a bonded logistics zone.
Nanning Bonded Logistics Centre will mostly trade in Guangxi and surrounding provinces and cater to the needs of ASEAN member states as well as other countries and regions. It will specialise in transport, storage, packaging, distribution processing and delivery of production materials and consumer goods, as well as information processing.
