DB increased the ticket prices

On December 13, a new timetable came into force in Germany. At the same time Deutsche Bahn (DB) increased the ticket prices for about 1.8%, Railway Market - CEE Reviewnforms. The rise has been explained by the increasing personnel costs.
DB expects to get EUR 50m more next year through this move.

Fares for regional trains went up by 2.2%. Price of BahnCard50 went up EUR 5 (to EUR 230). BahnCard100 and reserved-seat-tickets also increased (EUR 2.50 or EUR 4.50).

The price of Schones-Wochenenede-Ticket, BahnCard25 and most of daily Bundesland tickets remained unchanged.
