Expanded board at Toll UK

Toll Global Forwarding (TGF) has promoted Graham Ward to the position of Managing Director of its UK operation. He replaces Eddie Stroud who, after 42 years in the industry, will assume the role of Chairman of the UK company.

Ward joined TGF forerunner, Clover Cargo International, in 1989 as an operations clerk at its Southampton facility. After periods in both operations and international sales, a series of promotions led to his most recent post of General Manager for the company’s Ocean division.

At the same time, Lee Tebble (General Manager, UK Sales), Mark Kurzeja (General Manager, London Region) and Edward Scott (UK Manager, IT and Quality) are all appointed Directors and members of the TGF UK board. Peter Swallow will continue as TGF UK’s Finance Director and Company Secretary.Says Chairman, Eddie Stroud: “These new appointments ensure continuity in the principles that have placed Toll UK in such a strong position throughout the recent turmoil in world trade. At the same time, they prepare our company for further growth and development in the future.”
