Austrian firms get Bosnia rail project

Austrian firms Alpine and Swietelsky have sealed an 85 million-Euro contract to build railways in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it has been announced.

The Bosnian Public Railways Corporation said the firms had beaten six other companies with a joint bid for the work on 165 kilometres of tracks. The work is expected to be completed in 2012, Austrian Times informs.
