GEFCO Germany opens an air freight platform at Frankfurt Airport

GEFCO has opened a new platform at Frankfurt Airport. GEFCO Germany will use the facility, dedicated to air freight and located at Cargo City Süd, for air transport services to markets in Central and Eastern Europe. Initially, the platform will mainly handle products imported from Asia, and China in particular. GEFCO is planning one or two deliveries a week to Asia. Kai Längert head of air and sea freight at GEFCO Germany, explained that “opening this platform contributes to strengthening the service quality and international network of GEFCO”.
