Parker Drilling awards Kuehne + Nagel contract

Parker Drilling, a leader in high-performance contract drilling and project management solutions for the global energy industry, has entered into an agreement with Kuehne + Nagel to manage comprehensive logistics requirements for its international rig fleet.

Under the agreement, Kuehne + Nagel’s services will cover freight forwarding, export packing and most international transport-related processes.
Kuehne + Nagel will be offering multi-modal (sea, air, road and rail) transportation services, as well as expedited service for emergency logistics needs. Additionally, Kuehne + Nagel will support Parker Drilling’s Project Engineering and Construction business.

Kuehne + Nagel’s oil and gas capabilities help energy organizations manage their logistics strategies and operations across functional areas, including order management, transportation, physical distribution and supply chain security.
Specific capabilities include key account management with a dedicated customer-service department, rig and maritime support, a specialized rig-move task force, as well as FCPA compliance programs.
