Controlling agreement between the DB holding and the divisions is to be dissolved

Nov 2, 2009 Logistics

The new German coalition partners CDU and FDP intend to split up German railway company Deutsche Bahn (DB) significantly more than it is the case at present and thus also limit the control of the DB management on the individual divisions. The FDP party furthermore questions the present structure of DB Mobility Logistics (DB ML). A privatisation of the transport subsidiaries would also be possible and make sense in another form.

FDP and CDU both point out that the controlling agreement between the DB holding and the divisions is to be dissolved, Logistics Finland reports.
