Schenker agent wins award

The eleventh Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year Award has been won by Ms Alina Wenzel, 27, a shipping and forwarding agent with Schenker Deutschland AG, Germany, Exim News Service reports.

The function in this connection was held at the annual FIATA Conference here recently.

The regional winners were the South African, Ms Natasha Persad for Africa/Middle East; Mexican, Mr Ernesto Arevalo Schoedl for the Americas; and the Singaporean, Mr Wee Liang Gerard Er for Asia-Pacific.
