Sep 23, 2009 Logistics

China Southern Airlines has inaugurated the first scheduled cargo flights service from Shenzhen to Taiwan, Logistics Week reported.
The line initially offered two flights a week on Thursday and Saturday but added Fridays from September 18 to cope with its conventional peak season for cargo in September and October.

The service uses Airbus 320, takes off at 1130 hrs from Shenzhen Baoan International Airport and arrives at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport at 1330 hrs. Flight number is CZ3087.
The maiden flight carried nearly four tonnes of mail, express packages, garments and IT products from Shenzhen to Taiwan, taking up about 80 per cent of the aircraft belly capacity.
