Mexico's Dos Bocas oil port reopens

Mar 26, 2008 Logistics

Dos Bocas port, one of Mexico's three main crude oil exporting ports in the Gulf of Mexico, reopened the day after it was closed due to bad weather, the government said.

Dos Bocas and the other Gulf oil ports of Coatzacoalcos and Cayo Arcas together ship about 80 percent of Mexico's oil exports. Shipments have been upset in recent weeks and months as cold fronts and choppy weather closed ports. (Reporting by Noel Randewich; Editing by David Gregorio)
