Bulgaria Air will assume flights from SkyEurope

Sep 3, 2009 Logistics

Passengers who have purchased tickets and are set to fly to or from home with the bankrupt SkyEurope, will be ferried by Bulgaria Air, an official company press release has announced. The Slovak company filed for administration early on September 1, the Sofia Echo reported.

Tickets for passengers to and from Vienna will cost just over 100 euro. Bulgaria Air is currently researching a possibility to reshuffle some of its flight schedule as currently its entire fleet servicing that particular destination is engaged, the report says.
The company informs that tickets for SkyEurope passengers can be obtained from
any office or travel agent operating with Bulgaria Air, as well as "most other tourist agencies".

In order to receive such a ticket, clients of SkyEurope must present a copy of their original ticket and make all necessary reservations as soon as possible, as Bulgaria Air's capacity is, after all, limited, the press release says.
