Agility Norway opens Air and Ocean freight business

Agility announced the expansion of its services in Norway to include Air and Ocean freight. The new businesses supplement its successful Road freight platform that was established in July 2008. This marks another important milestone of Agility’s development in the European Nordics, following the acquisition of Oy O. Nyström & Co. AB in Finland and CF GeoLogistics A/S in Denmark, and the opening of fully owned offices in Oslo in the last 18 months.

The set-up of Air and Ocean businesses leverages the synergies of combined freight across Norway for customers. The customer base in Norway and the entire Nordic region will also benefit from improved access to Agility’s comprehensive global network and a varied portfolio of services.

The set-up of Agility’s own operating entity for all Air and Ocean business in Norway means that the previous arrangements via Bring Logistics have been terminated and all business is transferred back to Agility.
