M.o.U with Aeroplex for MRO Services on SSJ100 fleet

SuperJet International announced the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Budapest, Hungary, based Aeroplex for MRO services to support Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft, Business Wire reports.

According to this agreement, Aeroplex will join SuperJet International’s MRO network of Authorized Service Centers to provide SSJ100 operators with heavy airframe maintenance, unscheduled maintenance services, line and base maintenance and will have field teams to provide off-site support.

“This is a further step ahead in SJI strategy aimed at providing SSJ100 operators with the best maintenance services” – said Giovanni Simonetti, Senior Vice President of Customers Services for SuperJet International – “The strategic location of Budapest - Aeroplex facility will provide a boost to SSJ100 Customers maintenance opportunities in both Europe and Russia/CIS regions.”
