DTZ predicts that during the second half of 2009, a warehouse space of between 180,000 and 230,000 square metres will be built in Poland, which means that the supply of the warehouse space will fall by almost 40%, year on year. Still, the predictions of DTZ show more optimistic future for the warehouse development sector than the predictions from the beginning of 2009. DTZ also reveals that at the end of the second quarter of 2009, the logistics and warehouse space of Poland reached some 6mn square metres, while the area of new logistics and warehouse facilities built during the first six months of 2009 amounted to 768,000 square metres, Logistics Finland reports.
