BRITISH AIRWAYS has arranged for delayed deliveries for six A380s by five months, with the second six delayed for two years, reports London's International Freighting Weekly.
In a move to mitigate losses, the British flag carrier is working to cope with its first quarterly losses since privatisation, and with "no visible signs of improvement", conceded CEO Willie Walsh.
While insisting the airline's finances remained strong, Mr Walsh said the carrier would cut capacity five per cent for the winter season and ground 16 airplanes.
