Quandt heads international sales for AGS

Associated Global Systems has appointed Bernard Quandt to director of international sales and service.
   Quandt will be responsible for overseeing international sales and services for the New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based logistics company’s air, ocean, import and export activities, and with the corporate staff further developing strategic alliances with overseas partners.
   AGS has stations and agencies in more than 125 U.S. cities and 205 countries.
   Prior to joining AGS, Quandt served as regional sales manager for Unishippers Corp. He also held senior management positions since the early 1990s with logistics firms in the New York area, including Vanguard Logistics, Cargo Inc., and Seko.
