Quentin Beitler to serve as president of transportation professionals group

 

The Traffic Club of Pittsburgh elected its officers and board of governors to serve during its 108th year beginning on July 1, 2009.

 

Quentin J. Beitler, president, W. J. Beitler Co. & Beitler Trucking, will serve as president of the organization of transportation professionals founded in 1902.

Patricia O. Cox, logistics services engineer, US Steel Logistics Service was elected first vice president. Second vice president is Julie T. Bart, manager-rail & logistic transportation services, PPG Industries.

 

The board of governors includes the following:
-- Cynthia A. Bognar, COO, Bognar and Company;
-- Kristin M. Boyle, logistics engineer-rail pricing, US Steel Logistics Service;
-- John R. Buchanan, principal, Supply Chain Management Group;
-- Jim Heltzell, sales representative, Kinder Morgan Bulk Terminals;
-- David M. Perry, operations manager, Etimine USA;
-- Jack Porco, president, Alpha Coal Sales Company;
-- Bruce M. Rosen, president, Island Sales Limited;
-- Sal Russo, manager-international projects/estimating, KMX International;
-- Daria A. Schwartz, manager-dry cargo sales, Ingram Barge Company;
-- Joseph D. Shearer, president, Three Rivers Marine & Rail Terminals.

 

Mark A. Devinney, vice president-sales, Freeport Terminals, will serve on the board, ex officio as past president of the Traffic Club.
