ACI’s 2nd Maritime Salvage and Casualty Response will provide an in-depth look into the industry today. Workshop Overview:

  • Commercial Contracts versus LOF, and amended BIMCO agreements
  • The need for a standard commercial emergency services salvage agreement
  • Defining the contractual solutions

Workshop Objectives:

This workshop aims to bring together the salvor, the P&I Clubs, the hull underwriters, and the owners to explore a solution that is for the good for the industry as a whole. It will seek to clarify the needs of all parties to a salvage operation so that services can be performed without delay, the salvage industry can maintain its experience and expertise, risk and reward are balanced and the Underwriters obtain a suitable service at a reasonable cost.
