Small and medium-sized companies are the backbone of the economy. In the era of globalisation, these companies are using price-based, innovation and service strategies to maintain and underpin their status in the competitive arena.

Mannheim and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region can look back on a rich SME tradition and are favourably situated from a logistical point of view in their central geographic location in the German-speaking part of Europe. Every year in April, logistics experts from well-known small and medium-sized companies come together at the SME Forum to talk about their experiences and strategies. While the Forum provides them with an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences, the parallel special-topic exhibition showcases innovative solutions for modern supply chain management.
