Sea Asia's Mission Statement
After just one show, Sea Asia has injected a breath of fresh air into the maritime industries of Asia, providing a unique and lively platform for this massive and expanding sector.
From its established home in Singapore, Sea Asia 2009 will provide all the features that were so well received and so well attended in the first show in 2007:
a conference programme in which the Asian voice in world shipping was projected and debated by some of the leading names from the younger generation of Asian shipowning,
In 2009, all these features will be further developed: more conference sessions covering new topics, more interactive workshops, a wider range of social functions, and above all an exhibition that is even bigger and broader in range and reach.
Asia's remarkable forward progress in all aspects of maritime affairs, and the talented people who are driving it, need a platform that reflects Asia's status in the global industry; a platform which brings the international community to Asia to see for themselves.
The organisers of Sea Asia, Seatrade and the Singapore Maritime Foundation, are committed to providing an event which matches Asia's achievements and projects them outwards to the world.
