PACK&MOVE 2008 Nov. 18 - 21, 2008 in Basle (Switzerland - Europe) Basel Fairground Industry focus and inspiring forum
The objective of the organiser, Swiss Exhibition, is to put the entire logistics and packaging process chain on show at PACK&MOVE. A special industry focus will make it easier for exhibitors to present their products and services to specific target groups. The new concept is proving successful, as more than 50 percent of the available floor area has already been booked. An additional attraction is the three-day logistics talks forum with prestigious speakers and in-depth presentations from the industry. The specific focus on the most important user industries at PACK&MOVE, the Swiss Exhibition for integrated logistics solutions and packaging technology, is already proving a success. The event, which takes place in November 2008, will put the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and drink, manufacturing technology, mail order and e-commerce industries centre stage. The concept developed by Swiss Exhibition is attracting exhibitors to the Exhibition Center Basel. Bookings have already been taken from 138 companies, including market leaders from the packaging, labelling, intralogistics, forklift and industrial trucks and external logistics sectors. Both the number of bookings and the positive response from exhibitors indicate to us that our industry focus concept is the right approach. Exhibitors want to be able to target their products and services at specific visitor groups, says Roger Kaufmann, PACK&MOVE Exhibition Manager.
Three-day logistics talks forum
The new exhibition concept was developed in close cooperation with the exhibition advisory committee, which is made up of twenty of the best-known exhibitors. The exhibition brings together the three former logistics and packaging exhibitions, mavex, staplex and XCHAIN. In order to ensure that in future exhibitors can attend a regular autumn event for packaging and logistics, Swiss Exhibition is working closely with the NürnbergMesse. Its working partnership with the organiser of the trio of exhibitions FachPack, PrintPack and LogIntern will allow the exhibition dates to be coordinated. From 2008 onwards PACK&MOVE will be held in the years in between FachPack. PACK&MOVE
