14.00 -15.00. Break - including free discussion on the conference topics with the delegates and the representatives of the press. Press is invited by Port News Agency


15.00-17.00- Session 2 of the Conference Port Services: The Major Engine to Attract Greater Cargo & Passenger Volumes - Co-organised with Agency Port News


Time tba - Annual General Meeting of the Euro-Asian Transport Union - EATU, Russia

This section of the Programme may include the special Seminar on one of the following topics:

Conference: The International Maritime Law Association of Russia devoted to the 40-th Anniversary of the Association, Hall 6, Congress Hall


Port Tours: Exhibitors and Conference Delegates are invited to visit the following port facilities managed by Oslo Marine Group


Onega Sea Port Cargo Terminal in Saint-Petersburg specialising in RO-RO and container cargoes

Vyborg Port in the city of Vyborg handles container and general cargoes

The excursions will include:

presentations plus question and answer sessions

Oslo Marine Group presentation: development strategy for transport-logistic complexes

welcome drinks, face to face meetings with management of the Group.

The participation is free for all interested delegates, visitors and participants. The buses leave at 10.00 hours from Hall 6 of the TRANSTEC 2008 Exhibition.

TRANSTEC 2008 CONFERENCE PAPERS


Conference Papers are scheduled from major leading Russian industries and administrations including the City Parliament of St. Petersburg ( for legislation for port development in St. Petersburg), Primorsk oil port, Novoroslesexport timber port (Novorossiysk), Financial Transport Consulting Co, Moscow(for the creation of the free economic zones in Russian ports), Baltkran (as Russian representative of the international Ports Equipment Manufacturers Association PEMA), Oslo-Marine Group (owners of Vyborg sea port and several terminals in St. Petersburg port), Embassy of Iceland, Murmansk Transport Centre and Port, Arkhangelsk sea port.


Key-note presentations are also expected by the State Federal Service for Sea and River Transport of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the Commission for the National Maritime Policy of the Russian Parliament, Ust-Luga Port and the Sea-port of St. Petersburg.
