China Sailing International Shipping Agency Ltd. (hereinafter referred as “the Company”), approved by Ministry of Communications of P.R.C., is engaged in providing shipping agent service. In 2000 the Company was established in Shanghai as a joint venture by Shanghai Shipping Exchange (SSE) and SIPG Logistics Co. Ltd (SIPGL), with 40% and 60% shares respectively. The Company was the then fourth Class-A public shipping agency with qualification as NVOCC.
Over the past years, the Company has grown rapidly: it gained 10% market share in Shanghai concerning volumes of vessels and containers we undertook as agent, resulting in documentation handling of 80,000 billings per month, and various vessel handling including regular container vessels, roll-roll vessels, passenger liner and chemical vessels etc. The shipping routes spread all over the main ports in the world. |
