HONGTAI's I/E business covers textiles, household electrical appliances and accessories, ceramics, building materials, machinery, medical equipment and general merchandise, etc. The annual i/e turnover of the group in 2007 approached US Dollars 40 million.
HONGTAI has established its own manufacturing base consisted of HONGTAI KNITTING AND CLOTHING FACTORY CO., LTD. and MEITAI CLOTHING CO., LTD. which produce knitting fabrics and varieties of garments. YIJUN KNITTING AND GARMENT CO., LTD., the newest subsidiary of HONGTAI, was set up at the beginning of 2005. With investment of US Dollars 1 million, 12 sets of brand-new Japanese FUKUHARA 34" single knit circular knitting machine have been imported to produce various knitting fabrics in medium and high class mainly including single jersey, spandex single jersey, spandex terry, spandex jacquard, spandex pigue and filament cover cotton, etc. The precision of the mechanical performance guarantees the output in stable and high quality.
