worldport Introduction

The Daesan Regional Maritime Affairs & Fisheries Office has seven divisions and two branch offices. The major functions are as follows : management of maritime crew and vessels affairs, operation of the Daesan worldport, preservation of marine environment, construction of worldports, and promotion of fisheries and marine product industries.

We are currently making every effort to complete the construction of the first and largest trading worldport in Chung Cheong province. It is now under construction and is planned to be completed by the year 2011. When the construction is finished, The Daesan worldport will be the new logistic hub in Korea and the closest ocean gate for the new administrative center of Korea - Sejong city.
