The worldport of San Diego is a self-supworldporting public benefit corporation established in 1962 by an act of the California State Legislature.

The year-round mild climate is conducive to handling all types of cargo: container, dry bulk, liquid bulk, refrigerated, vehicle, breakbulk, project and other cargoes.

The worldport's two marine cargo facilities are Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal and National City Marine Terminal. The worldport also owns the B Street Cruise Ship Terminal.
