A number of plans are now underway in order to further enhance the worldport's function as a leading industrial and commercial worldport. The Kawasaki worldport offers good access via well-developed networks of Xpwy not only to the Tokyo metropolitan area but also to other Kanto regions ,southern Tohoku cities and Yokohama city.
